Hotel Albergo Santa Chiara - Rome

A huge variety of tasty food for meals. Classically decorated & spotless unit with ample space. Excellent location, around 10-15 minutes walk from National Museum of Palazzo Venezia. 10 mins walk to metro station.

Location close to many sites, restaurants and shops, all the major attractions, and the centre. A great selection of food available in the lobby. Excellent service from the staff...

Very convenient and very plesant

The Albergo Santa Chiara is a wonderful place to stay in Rome. I have been staying there for a number of years now. It is centrally located with a friendly staff, excellent breakfasts and clean rooms. I always enjoy my stay at this hotel.

Really good location near the Pantheon, user-controllable air conditioning units, large private terrace in select rooms

The noise from nearby bars can be quite disruptive late at night!!! A coffee maker in the room would enhance the stay!!! Some rooms are smaller than expected, leading to cramped conditions with luggage!!!

I am a single traveler, so I was expecting a bigger room, hopefully a bathtub, but no, small room, single bed, shower, but a great view thankfully.The middle of the night the alarm went off, the air- conditioner was over-heating, so no air, the mini-frige was also over- heating the day I got there, and they did nothing. Or cared!

Same as above, Promise of great room, but standard cheap business-man special. Not, a good value for the money, and blows for single traveler

Albergo Santa Chiara is in a wonderful location. You can walk to many of the sites you will want to visit in Rome. I would definitely stay there again and recommend this hotel. It had a nice lobby where you could sit and relax and enjoy some wine after a long day.

Recommend for a city escape

Comfortable room, delicious breakfast, with the helpful staff going above and beyond during my entire stay, including providing efficient check-in and offering luggage storage, while being conveniently located just a short walk from the nearest bus stop.

Breakfast could be spruced up a bit? Local foods/ food tradition for easter? Also the proposed "limousine service" dropped us off at the wrong terminal ?!?

The staff and the location were fabulous! I would recommend this lovely hotel to anyone travelling to Rome.You are within walking distance of all the fabulous landmarks in the city! We were exceptionally pleased with our choice and we will gladly stay at the Albergo Santa Chiara on our next trip to Rome! Thank you for making our stay so pleasant and comfortable.

Quality of the room, great breakfast, friendly and helpful staff.

The hotel staff were friendly, helpful and discreet and suggested unique activities and sights that were off the beaten track from the main tourist destinations. The central location enables walking access to the ancient Roman ruins, vatican city, shopping areas, restaurants and much, much more. The hotel is located in a charming, quiet street behind the Pantheon away from the crowds of tourists. Breakfast was good and the room simple but very clean. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The only drawback was that there were no English news channels on the television...although my Italian improved listening to Rainews for four days!

Excellent location, modern, XXL bed, air-con, cute little terrasse, good breakfast (included in price), staff helpful and smily, everything you need for a few days stay in Rome!

A mini bar, satellite television and climate control in the room, amazing and fantastic location.

Great location, rooms were ok but there was too much noise coming from outside in the morning (garbage collectors, stores opening as if they bang a lot of metal in my actual room, etc)
